Usernames and Passwords

 

Staff

 

If you are a member of staff requiring a user account, you should completed the New User Account Creation form (Word document). Please print it out, have it authorised by your line manager and hand it in at your local help desk.

 

Students

 

Students at St. Martin's are issued with a unique username and password. This will

  • Allow you to log on to any of the student computers in the college.

  • Give you access to your own storage area on the college network H:drive.

  • Give you access to your printing account.

  • Provide you with an internet e-mail address.

 

How to get your student username and password.

 

  1. Log on to a College PC using Username - newstudent and Password - newstudent.

  2. Input your student ID number (found on your library card)and date of birth.

  3. Read and accept the Acceptable use of IT facilities agreement.

  4. You will then be shown your own personal username and password. Make a note of it as you won't be able to look it up again

  5. Any problems contact your site Helpdesk.

 

For security reasons please do not allow anyone else to use your Username and Password.

If you lose or forget your Password go to your site Helpdesk, making sure to take some photographic identification with you.
