LIS provides a range of multimedia equipment and resources which can be borrowed by Library members.

The libraries hold a range of audio-visual material in both the Main Collection and Teaching Practice Collection. To find them on the catalogue do a Keyword search plus format. eg. Vikings video.

Equipment

 

A range of equipment is available for library members to borrow. At Ambleside and Carlisle media equipment can be booked and issued at the Service desk in the libraries. At Lancaster please ask at the help desk in Zone 1 of the library.

To borrow equipment students must fill in a Media booking form and get it countersigned by a member of the teaching staff. Hand this in at the site IT and Media helpdesk. Remember to your bring your library card when you are taking the equipment out as it will be issued to your card.

 

There are video and DVD player facilities in each of the libraries.

 

Data projectors are available for staff only and can be booked from the IT and Media Helpdesks.
Students at Carlisle can use Data projectors in the Learning Gateway
