Our Commitment to you:
Learning and Information Services (LIS) supports the learning, teaching and research needs of students and staff of the College by providing pro-active, academically focussed services, innovative learning spaces and modern facilities.
We actively work in partnership with Faculties, Services and Students to plan and provide a personal learning experience to all who can benefit. We aim to promote scholarship and knowledge transfer across and between professional groups and partners.
Our Services:
LIS is responsible for libraries, IT and media support, and learning technology services. We actively work to support student success, progression and employability. We do this by providing access to high-quality learning resources and facilities using appropriate technology.
We offer advice, consultancy and services that aim to put the learner at the centre.
We strive to develop user confidence and proficiency in information fluency skills and to provide a gateway to the global information environment.
Services to staff at the College are an integral part of our inclusive service profile.
