Postgraduate Courses
Below is an overview of the courses offered within the School of Sport and Outdoor Studies at St Martin's.

MA in Development Training
Location: Ambleside

Development Training makes a significant contribution to the lives of many individuals and organisations. It is applied in fields as diverse as multi-national corporations and young people at risk and the methodologies employed are rich and diverse. At the heart of Development Training is a coherent philosophy and professional discipline. This highly original programme makes a timely and critical contribution to the evolution of both philosophy and practice in Development Training. The course is both academic and experiential and has been designed to meet the needs of educators and trainers in post and those entering the field.

This MA is undergoing a process of review and recruitment to the programmes has been suspended for the 2006/7 academic year.
Some programme modules are available for access for those people wishing to gain further knowledge or experiences as part of their continuing professional development.
