The School of Sport and Outdoor Studies is developing and deploying a wide range of multimedia resources which relate to; the teaching provided on undergraduate courses, research completed for postgraduate publication and individual research projects.

Sports Podcasts
Sports Podcasts for A-level students (created by Dr Grant Abt & Tim Barry) are currently available from www.sport-podcasts.co.uk. They are available in a number of formats and the site provides links to Podcast resources.
We will be producing a regular podcast about all things sport-related. This podcast will be FREE to download or subscribe to in mp3 format.
Note: You do not need an iPod in order to utilise these resources.
Movies
We will be producing a range of Movies that aim to enhance the learning of secondary school students. Areas covered will include fitness testing, training methods and sports history. The Movies will be available in a number of formats including Quicktime, Windows Media Player and video feeds which are embedded directly into the web-page.
Photo Albums
Photo Albums include pictures of School staff, School Facilities, expeditions, placements and much, much, more....

The Web Links are provided as a resource for both students and anyone interested in the subject areas covered by the taught courses / research interests of the School.
