Nigel Dykes is a Lecturer within the School. He teaches Ecology and Management of Lakeland Habitats, Skill Acquisition (Water) and leads the Picos Expedition, teaching about European mountain ecosystems. His research includes the ecology of the Picos de Europa, countryside management (particularly wetlands, natural woodlands and upland environments), sea kayaking and outdoor skill acquisition.holarship interests are in countryside management, sea kayaking and outdoor skill acquisition..
